The ARG-PER-COL Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting the full cycle of payroll operations for multiple countries in the Latin America (LATAM) region. This role is designed to support ARG, PER and COL. This includes supporting payroll processing, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and providing support and training to in-country payroll teams. Reporting to the Country Payroll Manager, this position is a key supporting role for overseeing the full payroll cycle, from data collection and processing, post payroll delivery and year-end reporting.Key job responsibilitiesSupporting monthly payroll for assigned LATAM countries, including reviewing gross-to-net, withholdings, and deductions.Review and validate payroll data and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with in-country payroll teams to provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes.Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit purposes.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency.Support the payroll team on payroll results and deliverables validation from the external vendor.Stakeholder engagement with support areas, payroll vendor, HR, PXT and others.A day in the lifeAs a Payroll Specialist for ARG-PER-COL, a typical day involves supporting the full payroll cycle across multiple countries. This includes validating employee data, validating monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and providing support to in-country payroll teams. Answer daily associates inquiries related to master data, leave of absences, time and attendance and general payroll matters. The specialist also drafts monthly reports, escalates concerns to the Regional Manager, and documents all activities for audit purposes.About the teamThe ARG-PER-COL Payroll team is a dedicated group of 18 professionals responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll operations across Argentina, Peru, and Colombia. Leveraging their deep expertise in local labor laws, tax regulations, and best practices, the team ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for over 4,500 associates in the region.Beyond payroll execution, the team acts as strategic business partners, providing guidance to local HR and finance teams, driving process improvements, and implementing robust internal controls.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field and/or 1+ year experience in payroll processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll issues.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Proficient in using MS Office.Ability to work under pressure.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience managing payroll operations in ARG-PER-COL.Knowledge of payroll-related technologies/systems.Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.Familiarity with HR information systems and data integration.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
