The Director of National Programs leads the NativeEnglish Program for the Maximo Nivel Institute in Peru. TheNational Director is responsible for sales, marketing, clientservice, class scheduling, diagnostic testing, and enrollments.
Tasks The Director of National Programs manages a team of 4-6 shared office staff. A major component of the position ismanaging the front office ( the store ) and the daily logistics ofopening, closing, cashing out, and selling English classes.
It'salso important to generate excitement, both within the NationalPrograms Team and the client base,
about providing great clientservice and meeting matriculation goals every month! The Directorworks directly with individuals to matriculate them into Maximo'sNative English Program.
The Director also works with corporateclients to sell group programs to hotels, banks, restaurants, touroperators, and other businesses.
The National Director works veryclosely with the Academic Director in terms of providing greatclient service to students and clients, scheduling classes, andmaximizing the number of matriculations each month.
As a member ofthe Executive Team, the National Director also works closely withthe Country Manager and the Director of International Programs.
There are several reports the Director must generate on a regularbasis using Microsoft Word and Excel : Daily cash box (receipts),Matriculation per class ( FU Report ), Monthly Class Schedule, andmonthly book inventory, among others.
The Director is alsoresponsible for setting high standards and enforcing a number ofpolicies including : Matriculation After Exam, Use of ORIGINALtextbooks, greeting hours, and pulling non-paying clients out ofclasses, etc.
- Requirements 1. Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degreepreferred 2. TEFL, TESOL,
or CELTA Certification preferred 3.Fluent English;
- Advanced Spanish required 4. 3-5 years ofprofessional experience, ideally in sales or client serviceenvironment 5. Outstanding administrative and organizationalskills;
exceptional attention to detail 6. Excellent computerskills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. 7. Strong teamskills and a love for team training 8.
Must be ready to lead andmanage a cross-cultural team 9. Excellent interpersonal skills 10.Excellent writing skills 11. Focused on results increasingmatriculations and delivering great client service 12.
Adept atsetting goals and managing competing priorities 13. Metric driven;able to understand, analyze, and present data to support businessdecisions.
