At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before.Job Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance with the guidelines of WS (Workforce Services) - Labor Relations, on compliance with socio-labor obligations and conditions of own staff and contractors of the project, in order to avoid legal contingencies in general and possible joint and several liability. Carrying out monitoring of compliance with current labor regulations to ensure compliance with them. Supervising and controlling contractors specialized in issues related to labor management. Informing and receiving operational and functional guidance from the Labor Relations Leader and/or WS Management of the Project.Major Responsibilities:Complying and enforcing the labor regulations and the labor relations plan of the project.Providing advice on labor legislation, compliance with legal obligations and requirements for the forms of the general regime and the civil construction regime.Reviewing and verifying the fulfillment of work obligations in the project (correct payments, overtime payments, bonuses, contributions, contributions, social benefits, etc.).Attending and resolving the queries and/or complaints of the project workers on labor issues, avoiding or minimizing any labor contingency and guaranteeing a good working climate.Carrying out inspection visits and advise workers, contractors and subcontractors on labor regulatory compliance issues.Identifying deviations in compliance with labor regulations and propose corrective measures for improvement.Submitting a monthly report of the KPIs resulting from the local employment recruitment process.Reviewing the labor relations plan of the contractors and subcontractors of the project, as well as verify if strict compliance.Assisting and enforcing the local employment recruitment procedure.Education and Experience Requirements:Requires a professional degree in Law, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related careers, with complementary training in Labor Law, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar positions (including supervision), preferably in large-scale, high-value and complex EPC/EPCM projects or related to the construction industry and in the areas of labor audits, attention to inspections by the Ministry of Labor or SUNAFIL.Experience in developing plans and implementing processes and procedures.Previous experience and availability to work in shifts at remote sites.Required Knowledge and Skills:Extensive knowledge of the current legal - labor regulations of the general labor regime and special regime of civil construction, as well as in the labor legal regulations of Safety and Health at Work and Labor SupervisionKnowledge of collective agreements signed by civil construction branch.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Intermediate spoken and written English level (preferable).A high level of personal integrity.Availability to work in shifts at the remote site.Total Rewards/Benefits:For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of engineers and beyond!
