YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure the delivery of seeds according to the established contracts based on quantity, quality and time.
- Responsible for the compliance of phytosanitary and quality standards necessary to produce the crops that are managed in the corresponding area with an efficient use of the resources that are provided.
- Design, execute and give follow-up to the agronomic management plan defined for each crop developed within its area.
In addition, lead all logistics tasks internally and directly with field workers from planting to the end of cultivation, making efficient use of resources, respecting our quality, human rights and safety standards.
- Maintain control of internal working rules and regulations within the activities carried out by its staff in charge.
- Comply with the control and monitoring of the activity control documents, work instructions, management progress metrics of their area and work instructions, in addition to keeping them updated whenever necessary.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate responsibly with improvement ideas as well as to foster an atmosphere of collaboration together with other areas with focus in our customers.
- Keep updated the platforms where relevant information for the business is shared, detailing the advances, problems, deviations, as well as possible solutions.
- Ensure that the training program for growers is fulfilled, as well as to develop strategies for the development and empowerment of the staff that is within their area.
- Review, develop and complete the agreed plans and contract process monitoring platforms (QMS, INTELEX, BBS, etc).
- Comply with the company's Quality Policy, as well as ensuring that all members of its team comply with it, in addition to ensuring full compliance with all policies related to seed production indicated by the company (SHEE, Vehicle Safety, Business Conduct, Compliance corporate policies, Human Rights, etc.).
WHO YOU ARE - Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Agronomic, or Agricultural Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in agronomic or seed industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in people management.
- Basic - intermediate English proficiency.
- Knowledge of vegetables management.
- Ability to manage large numbers of staff.
- Ability to communicate and make yourself understood with staff.
- Innate Leadership.
- Results Orientation.
- Solid knowledge in the management of horticultural crops.
- Basic knowledge of administration, accounting and costs.
- Driver's license.
- Ability to work in a team.
