We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with a focus on React and Python to join a fast-growing startup environment and work with a client based in Las Vegas. As part of a large, well-established team within FusionHit, this role offers long-term growth potential and career development. While this is a full-stack position, the focus will be 70% front-end.
Location: Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America.
The ideal candidate has:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, with 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with full-stack expertise.
- Strong front-end development skills using React , highly focused on performance and state management.
- Back-end experience using Python, C#, or Golang as your primary language with strong JavaScript / Typescript experience as well. Strong Python experience highly desirable (or strong C# with a willingness to work in Python, or both).
- AWS Cloud components (Lambda / SAM (Serverless), Step Functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, Airflow, Glue, EC2, S3).
- Proficiency in databases such as MySQL, RDS, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Experience developing microservices is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on front-end development using React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Implement back-end services using Python and AWS.
- Support on-call responsibilities rotating, with additional compensation for weekend support.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks and apply them where appropriate.
- Ability to quickly learn new frameworks and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
