Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Preparing repair & maintenance, heat, light & power budgets.Studying carefully the previous year actual expenses and analyzing any abnormal deviation.Studying market prices and inflation of rates.Requesting current prices for materials and parts.Analyzing previous year energy consumption & cost and studying reasons for abnormal consumption.Considering the expenses to match standard % to revenue when budgeting.Preparing & following up on Preventive maintenance programs according to manufacturer manuals.Training technicians on instructions and preparing working sheets.Distributing copies according to intervals and observing program performance.Reporting un-maintained items on time and filing actual performed sheets.Dealing with outside contractors and surveying for the best options.Selecting reputable companies and observing contractor performance.Reporting contractor situations to GM monthly.Observing engineering stores, ensuring proper storage, and checking stock balances.Issuing purchase requests properly and on time.Supervising staff training and preparing annual training plans.Reporting training activities to the General Manager.Reporting and advising the General Manager on serious matters affecting safety and operations.Preparing the F.F.&E Budget and determining priorities for reasonable budget.Handling staff matters including hiring, evaluating performance, and planning vacations.Coordinating with the Financial Controller on finance matters.Observing hotel industrial safety equipment functions and reporting any malfunctions.Performing other duties as may be assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Minimum 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
