Job Description Sales & agronomical support - Define and align on sales & development strategies with the line manager.
Refine and implement this strategy.
- Lead sales activities at Southern Peru - Use knowledge of market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Propose and implement local distributor agreements for his/her region.
Work closely with selected distributors to find win/win solutions on volumes and margins - Propose marketing & promotional materials & events, to stimulate sales.
- Maintain and update an action plan, accountable for administrative tasks, market and business data capturing as required and reporting to hierarchical managers.
- Responsible for demand forecasting and advise on demand planning.
- Identify/ reinforce value proposition of (Tessenderlo Kerley) Crop Vitality liquid fertilizers - Lead the technical activities in line with the sales strategy.
- Maintain, update and actively utilize a network of technical contacts to promote the technical benefits of the products as to develop sales.
- Provide technical support to customers (i.e., distributors and growers).
- Accountable for personal safety and that of local staff.
- Manage a program of product field trials in the southern region to promote the benefits/ value proposition of the product portfolio - Coordinate his/her area developing with region trial responsible.
Budget - Meet sales, financial and technical objectives - Prepare an annual budget, both for sales, agronomical trials and expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
- Submit periodic reports as required by the hierarchical managers Stakeholder Management - Engage actively in relevant industry organizations, cross-functional associations, and seminars/conventions/events that provide educational, networking, and lead generation opportunities.
- Network with and identifies potential new partners, new customers, logistics providers, in his/her territory and raise opportunities for improvement with hierarchical managers.
- Establish highly effective relationships with distributor customers based on quality products, services and convenience - Monitor the customer needs and trends - Capture feedback from competitors and market evolution in order to evaluate the impact on the overall sales strategy.

Qualifications - Master's Degree in Agronomy (or equal by experience) - 5 years commercial experience in fertilizers or/and crop nutrition.
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment - Good knowledge of drip irrigation, fertigation techniques & foliar application.
- Solid understanding of B-to-B international environment and economical, legal and regulatory aspects.
Acts within guidelines.
