Working at Amcor means you will have a unique opportunity to be a part of an organization that is committed to innovating and driving new solutions to create more sustainable packaging solutions.To find out more about our commitment to sustainability and about Amcor, visit www.amcor.com I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTubeAbout the roleThe IT Developer for Genexus is a role to supporting the development and maintenance of technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization while adding value to the customer experience.Key Job AccountabilitiesProvide technical solutions of the application to the current business environment.Apply Amcor System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process when performing system modifications and train new team members on the process.Lead solution functional design sessions with Business Analysts and Project Manager to review and discuss requirements.Own and construct deployment packages and adhere to source control policies of the organization.Lead/participate in the planning, assembly, estimation, testing, and delivery of consolidated release packages.Document and recommend to-be solution alternatives with recommendations and provide estimates for new solutions or enhancements.Write technical specifications.Participate in all phases of application testing and fix defects accordingly.Work with Infrastructure teams to prepare architectural diagrams and ensure adherence to IT security requirements.Meet agreed timelines assigned.Contribute to the technical documentation process of each technical solution implemented.Generate ideas and pursue opportunities to improve business application systems and processes.Triage and investigate root cause system issues and identify short-term and long-term solutions.Follow and support defined IT standards and guidelines.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree or Technical Studies in System Engineer, Software Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.6+ years of experience in Genexus Developer role.3+ years of experience in industries such as manufacturing.Advanced problem-solving skills.Process improvement experience.Good communication skills - both oral and written - to successfully interact with project teams from various departments/business units.Experience working with programming languages such as Genexus (v8.0, v9.0, Evo, v16, and v18), Visual Basic, .Net.Strong experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL, Json/Xml.#LI-Hybrid
