JOB CONTEXT : In Peru, Humanity & Inclusion hasbeen present since 2019, through the implementation of differentprojects : Inclusive Disaster Risk Management (BHA 2020-2022),Protection Assistance to migrants and refugees (ECHO 2020-2023),Inclusive preparedness, effective response (ECHO-2021-2022),Technical assistance in inclusion (WFP-2022) and Strengtheningaccess to health services for the integration and protection ofmigrant, refugee and host population in vulnerable situations (GIZ2023-2024).

HI is currently working with USAID funds (2024-2026) inLoreto in the gender and climate change sector, with PRM funds(2024-2026) in assistance to the migrant population in Lima, Icaand Tacna with activities in mental health and psychosocial supportand sexual and reproductive health and will soon start a newintervention in the region of Huanuco with population withdisabilities,
native communities and climate change.

HI in Peru isin the process of growth and currently has 2 offices, a centraloffice in Lima, another for project management in Loreto (Iquitos)and soon a new office in Huanuco with the start of the new project.

It is expected that by the end of 2024 the team will have 17people. YOUR MISSION : Reporting to the Regional Director, theCountry Manager contributes to the implementation of the mandateand 10-year strategy of Humanity & Inclusion in the countrywhere s / he is based.

S / he ensures optimal quality, and the impactof the projects implemented in the country by means of a delegationsystem with appropriate oversight mechanisms.

With all the other HImanagers, s / he shares responsibility for the sound management andeffective functioning of the global organisation through paradigmchanges.


The country manager manages a team of project managers inhis / her country. Mission 1 : Management, strategy and direction ·Contribute to the development of the operational strategy of theprogram, as well as its implementation and annual monitoring in thecountry.

Serving as Role Model and coach for your team, youcontribute to organizational transformation. You communicate theorganization's strategy, encourage innovation, and facilitateinter-departmental collaboration.

You also play a crucial role inorganizing operational management, ensuring performance, andfostering staff development while upholding the organization's codeof conduct and policies.

Mission 2 : Standards and expertise ·Ensure deployment and compliance with HI global frameworks,institutional policies and standards.

Mission 3 :
Operationalimplementation · Ensure the sound management and monitoring ofprojects under his / her responsibility.

- Keeping both potentialopportunities and risks in mind, contribute to the monitoring andanalysis done by the line manager, and propose mitigation measureswhere relevant.
- Act as the legal representative for the whole ofHI internally / externally and foster an excellent reputation andpositive image of HI in the country.
- Develop HI's externalinfluence (forums, operational and strategic alliances, etc) andthe external representation of the organization (events, media) inthe country.
- Coordinate the teams in the country. · Support theProgram Director in monitoring security in the country and ensureadequate resources according to the context.

Mission 4 :
EmergencyPreparedness and Response · Lead the emergency preparedness actionsin his / her department and, in the event of an emergency, reorganizethe priorities of his / her team according to the humanitarianpriority, to ensure a quick and efficient response by HI.

- Youhave at least 10 years of overall experience and at least 2 yearsas Country Manager, Operations Manager / Area Manager, TUM / THoP orDeputy Country Manager.
- You have proven experience in : managingemergency response programs, development and armed violencereduction actions. objectives and contents of the transformationprojects (simplification, leading change, management etc.

Yourpractice a multi-cultural and multi-sector team management andleadership on site and remotely; you have a capacity to analyse(geopolitics, environment, relations) and do an ethicalpositioning, to negotiate and represent an organization.

- Youpractice and promote autonomy,
collaboration, initiative. You arecapable of self-criticism, and you are resilient to stress anduncertainty.
- Languages : written and oral communication inSpanish, and English and / or French. At HI, the conditions offeredare up to your commitment and adapted to the context of yourmission.
- 2 years International contract starting from 1stNovember 2024; - The international contract provides social coveradapted to your situation : - Unemployment insurance benefits for EUnationals;
- Pension scheme; - Medical coverage with 50% ofemployee contribution; - Repatriation insurance paid by HI; -Salary from 2986€ gross / month upon experience;
- Per diem : 624,31€net / month paid in the field; - Paid leaves : 25 days per year; -R : Level 1 (1 day per month). Position : Open to couples : -Support travel costs (air ticket & visa)
for accompanyingdependent and health / repatriation insurance if the dependent has noincome;
- Mission of more than 18 months : Payment of one yearlyadditional return flight. Open to families : Family package : - Achild allowance of 100€ per month, per child (from the secondchild) paid in the field;
- Contribution to school registrationfees for children over 3 years; - Payment for travel costs (airticket & visa) and transport of your personal effects;
