Incumbents will have a good working knowledge of current payroll legislation and regulations. The role will report directly to Head of Payroll for the Americas.Cómo lograrás un impactoLeads the end-to-end full cycle payroll process to ensure compliance with payroll regulations for approximately 8 countries with a population of about 1,200 employees.Responsible for ensuring all internal audit processes and procedures are in place to support payroll and data integrity and assists in all internal and external audits.Leads all aspects of full cycle year-end processing of all payrolls in a multi-country payroll environment and handles the processing of all external and third party processing items.Manages month end processes including payroll, benefit, tax, pension and governmental related remittances and reconciliations.Maintain current knowledge of payroll and applicable legislation to ensure compliance with all LATAM related country specific tax regulations.Facilitate the reconciliation and preparation of all employee related year-end required documents and other year-end activities.Represent Payroll in all country level M&A activities.Accountable for setting up any new countries that may join within the region.Responsible for updating any tax and legislative changes that affect payroll.Coordinate with 3rd party providers on any tax and legislative changes that affect the payroll.Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to Payroll Processors and/or Coordinators.Partner with Finance on all Accounting, Employment Tax, Tax Compliance, General Ledger and Payroll Audit related matters.Collaborate with other internal business groups (HR Support, Benefits, Oracle team) with respect to local or global projects and initiatives.Liaison with external Benefit and Pension providers to ensure membership, billing and reporting is maintained.Provide support on payroll related matters to HR business partners and employees.Collaborate with HR with respect to new hires, onboarding, changes and terminations.Acerca de tiRequired:Bachelor's degree.10 years demonstrable experience in a high volume multi-country payroll environment.Strong working knowledge and understanding of current payroll legislation and statutory requirements.Multi-Lingual Fluency (English and Spanish); Portuguese is a plus.Experience across LATAM Regional Payrolls.Advanced Excel proficiency.Knowledge of payroll and applicable legislation to ensure compliance with all LATAM related country specific tax regulations.Willingness to travel occasionally within LatAm or US.Desired:Strong financial acumen.Basic benefits administration experience.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Experience with Cloud based software preferred; Oracle is a plus.Ability to take care of multiple deadlines and timelines.Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.Work Traits:Strong customer service and communication skills to interact at all levels of the organization.Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.Very strong attention to detail, data entry skills and a demonstrable track record of accuracy.Strong service orientation and customer focus.The ability to persuade, convince, influence, and inspire others to take action.
