About you

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
2. 3+ years of professional experience as DevOps Engineer using Microsoft Azure.
3. Experience with Cloud, Kubernetes.
4. Focus on support and environment setup (Yaml/Jenkins/Docker/Terraform/Ansible).
5. Knowledge in Deployment of applications using containers is a plus.
6. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure services, Virtual Machine in Azure, Virtual Network Configuration.
7.
Knowledge in design patterns such as: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
8. Knowledge in CI/CD (Azure DevOps Services, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions).
9. IP's and Mask knowledge.
10. Cloud application monitoring, logging and infrastructure maintenance.
11. Experience with Kubernetes.
12. Knowledge of Scrum.
13. Analytical and Problem-Solving Thinking.
14. English proficiency is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.
15. Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
1. Automation of tasks related to provisioning resources on Azure.
2. Enablement and provisioning of resources on Azure.
3. Configuration of Virtual Networks and Firewall rules.
4. Consume REST API's.
5. Troubleshooting of problems related to configuration of CI/CD.
6. Optimize cost of resources with the implementation of new efficient solutions.
7. Experience with agile development processes to meet requirements and follow through with the implementation.
8.
Plan and conduct game days to test and enhance the code and diagrams.
9. Propose the best practice approaches in terms of architecture design, security, naming conventions, governance, etc.
10. Support CI/CD lifecycle.
11. Take ownership of the Azure environment assigned.
