Regional Group Financial Controller (MNC Tech)Location: MalaysiaEmployment Type: PermanentSalary: MYR 20,000 - MYR 25,000Added: 14/11/2021About Our Client: Our client is one of the largest technology groups in the country and due to the expansion of its business, they are looking to hire this position.Job Description:Ensures strong accounting and financial reporting throughout the group, including overseeing and monitoring an effective control environment and providing strategic information and reports.Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budget reports, forecasts, cost analysis reports, and analysis of financial performance.Provide technical expertise to deliver sound accounting and financial reports with proposed solutions, working papers, and documentation.Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and finance policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of accounting and financial activities.Responsible for submitting Group Consolidated financial reporting, statutory reporting, and audits.Conduct deep dive analysis on financial data of the overall group and business units/subsidiaries.Prepare group budget, forecast, and analysis.Manage group treasury, banking matters, cash flow management, reporting, and compliance monitoring.Oversee Group taxation matters.Provide financial analysis for corporate finance transactions as required.Develop and implement automation of accounting processes and reports to enhance finance operations and reporting efficiency.Identify and proactively drive continuous improvement for finance operations of the group.Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, statutory bodies, bankers, company secretary, and lawyers for audit/tax/banking/legal matters.Keep track of important deadlines and complete required working papers timely.Support the Chief Financial Officer as required.Other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.The Successful Applicant:Degree in Accounting and Finance.Professional Qualification is an added advantage (CIMA, CPA, etc).Minimum 8 years working experience with Bursa reporting experience.Big 4 auditors with commercial experience will be an added advantage.Strong IFRS and technical knowledge.High proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros, tables, and graph production) and MS PowerPoint.Strong business acumen, analytical, and communication skills.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Whats on Offer:Excellent remuneration and benefitsOpportunity to work in a large tech company.
