Calling all Tableau Report Creators American Express Meetings and Events is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who has a passion for analyzing data and creating visualizations in Tableau. This is a remote position and a great opportunity to join a wonderful team.The overall objective of this position is to provide a high:level of customer service and business intelligence and insights reporting for one or more of our strategic global clients.This includes interaction with various levels of client and internal Meetings and Events management and performing tasks aimed at the development, retention, and expansion of the global client relationship.Key Responsibilities:Collaborates with end:users in the design of custom Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, metrics, and reports and executes the development.Translates business requirements into detailed technical design and programming specificationsDocuments all report related activities including user requests, report specification, development, modification, testing, and on:going production support.Follows the entire development life cycle including coding,unit testing, bug fixes, and maintenance (inclusive of regression testing for platform releases)Researches and conducts data analysis as well as makes recommendations in support of resolution of issuesApplies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulationAbility to effectivelypresent information in one:on:one and small group situations to customers and other employeesAdept at blending, normalizing, and analyzing multiple and extensive data sets to yield reportable and meaningful dataProven ability to synthesize information and identify key trends, insights, and actionable recommendations to clients that can support business decision needsKey Qualifications:Minimum two years of hands:on experience working with enterprise data visualization tools (i.e., Birst, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP BI, etc.)Bachelors degree with technology focus or equivalent work experienceAdvanced to expert knowledge on Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools; Access and Excel are requiredUnderstanding of relational databases and demonstrated proficiency in efficient query writingAbility to work mostly unsupervised.Proven communication and collaboration skills; willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities.Experience troubleshooting and writing VBA codeProficient in database design; specifically Microsoft Access tables, queries, reports, macros, and formsKnowledge of the meetings and events industry preferred, willingness to learn requiredCustomer and service:oriented mindsetAbility to multi:task and prioritize to handle numerous responsibilities with little directionComfortable with an environment where priorities change frequentlyAbility to work in a fast:moving company and industryLocationCzech Republic:Virtual LocationIt is our policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all individuals based on job:related qualifications and ability to perform a job, without regard t
