We pride ourselves on being a digital airline, offering services like BIG Duty Free, BIG Pay, BIG Loyalty, Touristly, ROKKI, and Xcite Inflight Entertainment.Duties and Responsibilities:Accountable to identify, evaluate and develop new flying opportunities.Assess various route performance factors such as current demand, growth trend, market fare, competitive landscape, cost structure, and commercial strength, providing management with thoroughly researched business cases supported by P&L forecasts on route and fleet decisions.Review route network performance to detect profitability gaps and provide data-driven suggestions to influence stakeholders from Revenue Management, Scheduling, Sales, and/or Operations toward corrective actions.Keep abreast of changing market dynamics from both demand and supply perspectives, including ethnic connections, labor movements, tourism trends, geopolitical swings, competitor movement, network updates, frequency changes, and gauge adjustments.Prepare and represent AirAsia Group Network Planning in both internal and external stakeholder engagements.Responsible for the management of Network Planning data and information collection, ensuring the correct and timely dissemination of files such as the Group Route Rollout, Group Frequency Table, and other ad-hoc requests.Leadership:Set clear and quantifiable goals for the team.Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.Encourage and mentor junior staff to accelerate department competencies.Thought leadership in developing more accurate methodologies to model network change effects.Personality and Characteristics:Ability to simplify complex ideas into a winning narrative to gain stakeholder buy-in.Innate curiosity for self-learning.Adaptable personality that thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing market.Keen eye for detail and relentless drive for improvement.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, including senior management and board of directors.Qualifications:Minimum qualifications for the role will be detailed here.
