If so, your expertise and experience can make a meaningful difference in advancing the social and economic development of this population in Lima.Cuso International is seeking a volunteer to collaborate with the Kallpa team at the Youth and Inclusive Employment Centre (CJEI) located in the San Juan de Miraflores district in Lima, Peru.In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in enhancing business management skills for marginalized groups (such as individuals with disabilities, teenage mothers, Venezuelan refugees, migrant women, LGBTQ+ individuals, etc.) who have initiated or are currently running businesses, aiming to facilitate their social and economic integration.This position holds significant importance in fostering self-employment opportunities and facilitating the social and labour inclusion of vulnerable communities.As a volunteer, you'll work closely with the Kallpa Association's team. Since 1990, this organization has been actively engaged across Peru, crafting innovative, participatory approaches to broaden opportunities for the sustainable development of communities.Join us by applying today and contribute to making a meaningful impact!As a volunteer, you will:Provide support in the creation of a business plan for young entrepreneurs who participate in the entrepreneurship workshops.Carry out an analysis to understand the personal and business factors of the business in progress and to determine the areas to improve and strengthen business management.Conduct workshops for personal strengthening and empowerment (soft skills and coaching) for self-employment (entrepreneurship) and employment (job placement).Conduct workshops to strengthen business management to properly lead a business venture and make it more profitable and sustainable.Provide advice and follow-up for implementing their improvement plan (diagnosis) of their business in progress.Conduct calls and follow-up visits to the entrepreneurs of CJEI users who have strengthened their businesses.Participate in management meetings in the Lima region and with the local government technical team to improve the CJEI's strategy.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, International Administration, Business Management or similar.Complementary courses in diversity and socio-economic inclusion, gender approach, among others.Basic knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Basic use of design programs such as Canva (asset).Experience in placing people in jobs.Experience in setting up a business.What's in it for YOU? With the help of Cuso International, KALLPA has founded two Youth Employment Centers in Peru.Terms and ConditionsCuso International terms and conditions allow you to lead a modest and healthy lifestyle while being effective in your placement. All volunteers receive support from Cuso International to help achieve the goal through fundraising. If the volunteer chooses not to fundraise or is unable to achieve the fundraising goal, he/she can make a one-time donation or become a monthly donor to support our work.
