Our bold mission is to help customers solve some of the world's most complex problems by providing actionable information and insights that reduce the time from new ideas to life-changing inventions in the areas of science and intellectual property.The Role:Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this person will be a senior member of the Legal, Risk and Compliance Group (LRC) and will be responsible for providing oversight for the APAC, India, and best cost locations based teams and providing a legal perspective on key business and strategic decisions in the region.This role is both strategic and operational, where strong business instincts and legal judgments are crucial.
You must be able to handle a diverse range of complex legal matters, drafting and negotiating agreements, dispute resolutions, acquisitions, and integrations.You must have an ability to operate within a complex matrix structure, be a team player and collaborator, and be able to support the local team members regardless of the reporting line structure, assisting with recruitment, retaining key talent, and colleague engagement.
You will take the initiative to proactively implement programs to reduce legal, compliance, and commercial risks.A strong leader with a flexible approach, ability to lead and operate in ambiguity will be key.
