Job Description:Responsible for preparing the Business Unit financial reports ensuring timely and accurate data. Provide financial analysis to support decision-making.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide Financial support to the company.Lead all accounting and tax aspects, including month-end accounting activities, reconciliation checking for BS accounts, GAAP entries and communication with counterparts abroad.Understand and ensure compliance with accounting practices and policies.Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.Guarantee presentation of Taxes and Statistics on time to Public Authorities.Preparation of monthly reporting and other tasks included in the financial calendar.Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual internal controls and procedures are in place.Attention to Financial/Tax/Corporate Audits.Generate financial reports and statements to Leadership Team for review.Participate in the department initiatives that aim at daily activities improvement and streamline reporting processes.Ensure supporting documentation for payables are in accordance with internal controls requirement and approve the respective payments with local Controller.Manage and supervise the accounting team.SKILLS and ABILITIES:Ability to plan for self and others in order to meet tight deadlines and also deliver on projects that drive value within the business.Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand and drive multiple initiatives to a decision point.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact across all levels of the organization.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Accounting Degree.Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions. Experience in accounting firms (Big 4 or others) will be considered a differential.Intermediate English Level.
