Assistant Vice President, Risk Governance and DisclosuresLocation: CIMB Niaga, MalaysiaResponsibilities:Manage the logistics and meeting needs of the Group Risk and Compliance Committee (GRCC) including the agenda to ensure the smooth conduct of the meeting.Manage the lineup of proposers in terms of their respective timeslots for presentation at the GRCC.Advise on the template and appropriateness of the proposals submitted for deliberations.Manage the process of publication of the meeting materials within the agreed timeframe to allow GRCC members sufficient time to prepare for deliberations.Communicate GRCC decisions, outcomes, and matters arising from the GRCC sitting to allow the proposers sufficient time for the next course of action.Prepare the minutes and records of the GRCC proceedings for audit and future reference.Obtain information and write: Peruse regulations and assess the impact and implication of such regulations on existing/proposed risk management frameworks, policies, and guidelines, focusing on the EWRM and GRPGAS in particular.Track and report on the progress of the establishment or maintenance of the EWRM and GRPGAS.Engage the relevant risk personnel and collect information required for disclosures within the specified timeframe.Check and verify the accuracy and completeness of information disclosed to ensure no material omission or misrepresentation of facts.Monitor the progress and status of the disclosures against the agreed timeline.Job Requirements:Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or Diploma holder with at least 5 years relevant working experience.Experience in managing the secretariat function of risk committees.Experience in establishing risk frameworks, policy writing, documentation, and risk disclosure requirements.Understand Regulatory and Internal Policies and Procedures.Knowledge of all business, products, and operations that attract financial and non-financial risks.Knowledge of banking and banking operations.Good interpersonal and presentation skills.Solution-focused thinking.Good oral and written communication skills.Striving for continuous improvement.Championing team success.
