Job Description
We are looking for a versatile and dynamic person with a strong growth mindset to establish, lead and execute the Group Human Resources strategies and plans. The role shall report directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall HR leadership; collaborate with the management team to design and implement HR strategy and roadmap to support organizational growth and promote positive company culture.
Manage department budget ensuring it aligns with approved budgets.
Provide consulting expertise in the areas of organizational development, employee relations, performance management, employee retention, change management, manager coaching, compensation planning and programs, talent acquisition and retention, benefits plan, etc.
Implementation, review, and enforcement of human resource policies and procedures.
Responsible for industrial relations matters ensuring harmony and welfare of employees are taken care of.
Responsible for establishment, management, and execution of talent management and employee engagement initiatives. Talent management includes sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
Establishment of employee development initiatives. Ensure employees are developed according to competency required to meet role expectations.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll for the Group.
Ensure compliance with laws related to Human Resource matters.
Job Requirements:
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years working experience with full spectrum of Human Resource, with minimum 5 years in senior management level.
Well-versed with employment laws, including but not limited to Employment Act, IR Act, and EPF/Socso/Tax regulations.
Computer literate with excellent command of English.
A people person with high level of adaptability and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact with various levels of stakeholders with good influencing capabilities.
Experience in managing a group of companies with various business units and subsidiaries, and/or managing HR in a listed company environment, is preferred.
Results-oriented, possess high level of integrity and ability to set good benchmarks in HR service delivery.
