Vice President of Business Development for a California-based Media Company. Our client, an established LA-based media company (they specialize in video production, event production, and experiential marketing for Fortune 100 companies) is looking for a talented VP of Business Development. They are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, industry-relevant experience, and relationships with key decision-makers. Someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit and sees our success and potential as the ticket to their own growth.You will be responsible for identifying potential new clients, pitching our services to them, and maintaining strong relationships with industry contacts. You will identify and cultivate new revenue streams in various sectors, with a focus on video, branded content, and new media production. You will be taking the lead on defining long-term strategic goals, building key client relationships, increasing brand awareness, identifying business opportunities, and leading our financial growth. You will negotiate and close new contracts while maintaining extensive knowledge of the current market landscape and key players.The individual must be an experienced business development professional with a track record of success in a relevant setting (creative agency or production company).
