Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, the Vice President of Diversity serves as the organizational resource for all diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) related matters, at all levels, for JPS Health Network.This position has the responsibility for guiding efforts to conceptualize, define, assess, nurture, and cultivate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The VP of Diversity establishes and implements strategies meant to encourage an inclusive, safe, and diverse workforce.This leader will position JPS Health Network as a leader in diversity, inclusion, and health equity as well as in providing culturally and linguistically competent care to decrease disparities in the process and outcomes of care. At the core of the leadership, the task is improving the teammate and patient experience, which includes concepts of quality, safety, and effective communication. It also concerns reducing health disparities and inequities in all aspects of organizational functions including such practices as promoting patient access, teammate recruitment, employment, engagement, and satisfaction.This role will serve as an advisor, bridge builder, strategic leader, and partner, enabling leaders across the network to identify and execute initiatives to effect lasting organizational changes.
