Requisition ID:280931Relocation Authorized:NoneTelework Type:Part-Time TeleworkJob Summary:Leads, directs and trains on Construction BSAPs and their associated work processes to the Construction Automation group assigned. Collaborates with other automation functions to implement, configure and operate Construction BSAPs to meet Project Construction Automation requirements. Analyzes, diagnoses and verifies design engineering data received for completeness and accuracy and collaborates with engineering automation to work out data inconsistencies if they are found. Supports the installed quantities tracking process for TEAMWorks as well as SETRoute, also supports field engineering to structure the maintenance strategy for permanent plant equipment as per vendor's equipment manuals or specifications.Major Responsibilities:Performs assignments independently with instructions as to the general results expected.Provides technical direction and assigns work to discipline subordinates or others who assist in construction automation activities.Provides training and support to end user customers in Field Engineering, Subcontractors and Joint Venture partners as required.Makes frequent contact with Engineering Automation in the design office to ensure design engineering data quality.Contacts field engineering discipline staff specialists as needed to gather specialized information or specific support.Ensures the Construction BSAPs are implemented and properly configured to comply with construction needs and work processes.Verifies data exchanges from, to and between Construction BSAPs are properly configured and functioning to support construction work activities.Verifies TEAMWorks rules of credit are configured as per the SWPP, and configures new ones if the necessary deviations are approved.Ensures quantity reporting interfaces between QURR and TEAMWorks / SetRoute are configured and supervises the quantity reporting process for completeness and accuracy.Collaborates with Field Engineering to ensure Construction BSAPs are being utilized correctly and in compliance with the SWPPs.Acts as a liaison between Design Engineering and Field Engineering to help sort out data inconsistencies if they are found.Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited college or university, and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge and Skills:Advance knowledge of Construction Automation BSAPs and associated SWPPs, such as install quantities tracking and reporting, work packaging, cable reel administration, permanent plant equipment maintenance, technical correspondence such as FCDs, NCRs and RFIs work process, etc.Microsoft Office Suite intermediate skills with emphasis in Microsoft Access and Excel.Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications in accordance with current Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAP) standards.Bechtel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
