Job Description GateSource HR Mining is partnering with a growing exploration and development company to identify and recruit a bilingual Spanish/English mining HR professional; the incumbent will lead the HR function in this South American country.
Reporting to the senior leadership, the HR Manager will oversee all aspects of HR operations in country.
This includes workforce planning, recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, compliance with local labor regulations, and support for immigration and relocation processes.
The role requires a blend of strategic insight and operational expertise, ensuring alignment with the organization's global HR standards.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic HR guidance and leadership to local teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Lead the implementation of HR programs, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Analyze HR metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Monitor compliance with local labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices meet legal requirements.
Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency in policies and processes.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
MBA is an asset.
Proven track record of HR leadership in a multicultural and dynamic setting.
Strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
At least 10 years of HR management experience, ideally in the mining or industrial sector in South America.
Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.
