The sky is your limit - Rate Range : $175K-185K USD Gross Annually Job Description As Director of Sales& Marketing, your key responsibilities are to architect andsteer hotel sales and marketing strategies into a new era of growthand innovation.

This senior role demands a blend of visionaryleadership, strategic marketing genius, and sales expertise, poisedto elevate our brand and drive revenue.

The ideal candidate willpossess a track record of crafting winning strategies, inspiringteams, and forging solid relationships with customers and partnersalike.

What you will be doing : - You will be responsible foroverseeing commercial strategies for the hotel. Your goal ismanaging the asset by connecting strategy and business processes.

Business processes should be designed to impact all revenuestreams, including focus on Rooms, Catering, Food & Beverageand Marketing.

- Lead the development and implementation of bothshort-term and long-term strategies in all sales, events,
andmarketing channels to achieve hotel's revenue goals and increasetarget market share performance.
- Produce your hotel's AnnualMulti-Year Commercial Strategy Plan, in partnership withon-property leaders and regional support.
- Connect the performanceneeds for the hotel with the solutions designed by the Fairmontbrand enterprise, in each key segment the hotel serves.
- Work withCommercial Leadership to ensure that pre-opening and Group Pricing& Rate Quotation Strategies are in place in order to maximizeall pricing components of sales and catering opportunities andachieve positive market share.
- Work in conjunction with Brande-Commerce teams to build & establish hotel B2B marketing,digital marketing, social media, public relations andcommunications channels.

Guide these teams to ensure online hotelcontent is accurate and effective. - Work with Commercial Leadersto establish optimal business mix,
review and validate revenueforecasts to improve accuracy while developing strategies fordifferent demand periods, and review and approve retail and grouppricing strategies.

- Develop and execute departmental expensebudget and forecasts. - Must be able to train and monitor thegroup, transient and events contractual, legal and risk agreementpractices, establish booking guidelines and pricing expectations,full knowledge of sales and events booking platforms and uphold allcompany policies and procedures associated with managing thesesystems.
- Develop and maintain detailed and real-time knowledge ofall competitor and market activity. - Responsible for the executionof the Fairmont Sales Incentive Program.
- Responsible forrecruiting and retention of all sales and marketing roles. - Lead,engage, and develop team members,
including ongoing performancedevelopment and Career Development Plans.
- Liaise with FairmontGlobal Sales, regional support and brand teams. - Build strongrelationships with CVB, community groups / influencers and 3rd partytravel partners.
- High level of engagement with customers from allsales segments. Qualifications Your experience and skills include : - Minimum of five (5) Years of Hotel Sales, Catering or MarketingExperience.
- Management Experience (type) : Director. - Four-yearcollege degree preferred. - Minimum Years of Leadership Experiencein a Full-Service Hotel : 4 star plus.
- Additional Requirements : Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedulechanges. - Highly professional presentations and communication(oral and written) skills.
- Proficiency with standard MicrosoftOffice. - Ability to perform critical analysis.
It would be helpfulin this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilitiesand distinctions : - Additional / advanced degree coursework inbusiness administration, marketing and communications.
- Adaptableexperience with business strategy, business planning, and businessplan development. - Experience in large matrix organizations.
