Organizational Overview: The Solmax Americas business services the North and South American markets through manufacturing locations in Quebec, Georgia, Texas, South Dakota, and South Carolina.Position Overview: In 2021, Solmax acquired and began integrating two entities of similar size, TenCate Geosynthetics and Propex Global. Solmax Americas desires to create a common S&OP process and organization for the new combined entity. This role will be responsible for the overall planning organizations in the region and will play a key role in projects to integrate planning activities. Currently, Solmax Americas is running on three different ERP systems.Essential Job Functions:Ensure S&OP meetings and processes are held according to monthly cycles. These meetings include Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and S&OP.Directly lead S&OP Meetings and manage action/decision log.Manage planning resources and processes in the region, which include Demand Planner, Master Planners, and Schedulers.Through the S&OP process optimize tradeoffs between cash, cost, and service.Ensure that planning processes are coordinated with material procurement and sales order fulfillment.Develop and report on KPIs such as Supply Chain Delivery Performance, Inventory Turns and On-Time: On Schedule.Develop and improve processes and analytics for forecasting, requirements planning, inventory classification, inventory parameters, slow-moving inventory management, scheduling optimization, capacity modeling, available to promise, and S&OP balancing.Other Job Functions:Coordinate with Global DSC resources on improvement initiatives and KPI reporting.Support financial forecasting and budgeting.Ad hoc analytics to support S&OP decision points.Backup Demand Planner or Vice President of Supply Chain as needed.Participate in discussions with customer and supplier planning organizations.Master data management of planning parameters and participation in Master Data Management governance.Ongoing maintenance, testing, and optimization of existing ERP systems.Review, understand and observe safety and security rules and regulations.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or Engineering preferred.Experience with advanced planning tools such as Demand Solutions, OMPartners, APO, etc. is preferred.Must be an advanced level user with MS Excel and good proficiency with other Microsoft business tools (Outlook, Teams, Explorer, SharePoint, etc).Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is preferred.ERP MRP system experience (SAP, MS Dynamics, Infinium/AS400) is preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to provide appropriate liaison activities with all levels of the organization and outside the organization.Experience with change management, organizational transformation, and project management is preferred.Professional supply chain certification is preferred.Six Sigma and Lean training/certification is preferred.
