Education Officer

Note: This position will require some work on weeknights, weekends, and public holidays. It may also involve some strenuous physical activity from time to time.Selection criteria1. Demonstrated experience in planning, creating, delivering, and evaluating engaging curriculum-aligned learning programs for students and professional learning programs for teachers, especially in the digital space.2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.3. An understanding of, and interest in, Australian history and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and cultures and a willingness and capacity to continue to further this understanding.4. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.5. Ability to work effectively as a member of an engaged and collaborative team.7. Demonstrated commitment to a child safe and child friendly environment and personal skills that support and enhance children's positive engagement in the Museum.8.
