Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business area in Lima, Perú.You will be mainly accountable for:• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.• Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.• Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.• Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.Our team dynamics:You will join a talented and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role
- You are immersed in Electrification projects developing technical activities. You have solid knowledge of the Colombian RETIE standard in multinational company in the industrial or engineering sector.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in more than 5 years actively participating in major projects, generating, reviewing and approving technical documentation. Coordinating the technical integration between disciplines and following up and coordinating with clients.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP, ETAP & Digsilent Electrical Surveying Software.
- You are passionate about Leadership, Planning and Organization, Customer Orientation, Problem Solving, Judgment and Judgment.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Mechanics, or related engineering careers.
- You are at ease communicating in English at intermediate B2 level (must).
