Job purpose
Contribute to optimizing the portfolio by managing long-term exposure in the contract market, buying and selling energy (physical or financial PPAs)
and green certificates through bilateral contracts with consumers or producers. Offer customized energy solutions for businesses and analyze the market to manage risks and meet needs. Enhance the customer experience, enrich the value proposition in Peru, and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster their loyalty.
With what results are the position supposed to contribute?
- Identification and proactive search for electricity supply contracting opportunities, as well as business development initiatives within commercial mandates limits.
- Manage the sales process and the presentation of proper documentation according to the established schedules until the eventual sign-off of the contract is achieved.
- Carry out market risk assessment for potential contracts, using contribution margin projections and information from long-term reports, in coordination with the respective departments.
- Arrange meetings with potential clients and visits to their facilities, involving areas that can contribute to Statkraft's value proposition.
- Contribute to the implementation and improvements of the Loyalty Strategy of free clients.
- Develop a solid and trusting relationship with free clients.
- Handle and/or manage the response of possible inquiries and/or requirements from free clients within Statkraft's portfolio.
- Develop a complete understanding of free clients (economic sector, industrial process, consumer profile, etc.).
- Visit clients' facilities, and supervise the implementation and compliance of the agreements made between the parties.
- Update and maintenance of database with public information on the electricity sector for the issuance of internal reports in Power Bi and support of MGP's Commercial Strategy.
- Update the pipeline of contractual opportunities and Statkraft's Clients Portfolio on Salesforce platform.
Qualifications
Competence requirements
- University degree in economics, finance, engineering, or equivalent. Desired to hold a Master degree in administration or economics.
- Five or more years of experience in portfolio management and/or corporate sales within electricity market companies or banking sector.
- Knowledge of the Peruvian Electricity Market Regulation.
- Experience developing customer attraction and retention strategies (B2B).
- Office Package (Advanced).
- Intermediate proficiency in Power BI, Python coding, Salesforce or other CRM.
