Field Service/ Maintenance Specialist on Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and Aeroderivatives Products
Bachelor Degree preferred. Industry experience and TPS/IET product line training required.
Good functional/technical, customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team working skills. Specialization in heavy-duty gas turbine and aeroderivatives products is essential.
Under minimal supervision, the specialist receives and follows established tasks according to the maintenance or installation activities schedule on customer equipment in the field.
Actively collaborates with other crew members on the installation and/or maintenance activities of customer equipment at customer sites.
Responsible for executing specific tasks following the site quality checklists provided for the agreed scope of work. May interact with customer representatives and site teams on routine matters at the field job site, such as coordination meetings. Needs to provide all required records of activities accomplished at customer sites to the Baker Hughes TPS Supervisor and promote and maintain good team relations. Executes all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors, following all TPS/IET service applicable processes and procedures. Performs other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes core values (HSE, quality, and compliance).
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a field service or maintenance position.
- Participation in minor/major outages, commissioning, and installation.
- Knowledge of L1 service - Boroscopies.
- Knowledge of L2/L3 services.
- Ability to understand and implement technical drawings.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HDGT (frame 3-5-7) and aeroderivatives (LM2500, LM6000).
- Experience with troubleshooting.
- Availability to travel 80% of the time.
