Primary Responsibilities - Complete month bankreconciliations for accounts held with two separate banks - Supporttimely month-end close process such as preparing and postingjournal entries related to cash accounts - Perform daily bankanalysis to ensure all cash receipts and payments initiated byaccounts payable are posted in the ERP system - File monthly andquarterly sales tax such as GST, HST and California sales and usetax - Manage foreign exchange hedging contracts taken out forforeign currency receivables and payables.
Including bi-annualhedging consolidation schedule used in group reporting - On aperiodic basis apply for letters of credit and bank guarantees asrequested by our customers - Initiate weekly wire payments asprepared by accounts payable for release by Controller and VP ofFinance - Assist in ongoing conversion of banks as well as ERPsystems - Complete requests from Head Office as well as externalauditors - Help build and maintain an environment of stronginternal controls - Support Controller in performing other analysisas required Physical Demands - Most work is performed in an officeenvironment with occasional trips to the assembly floor and thewarehouse - Most of work is done while sitting down.
