About the Role:
We are seeking a Graduate Contracts Officer to join our team in Malta. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and finalizing contracts across the business, collaborating closely with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the life-cycle of contracts from requests from Business Development for new contracts, to variations/amendments.
2. Ensure the correct information is included in contracts and the correct format/template is used, with any options on Standard Issues correctly selected.
3. Aid legal counsel in deploying know-how and information to different stakeholders within the company.
4. Manage, aid implementation of, and monitor the use of contract execution system and storage,
and any developments made to it (using technology and/or processes).
5. Act as liaison and chase any missing information, responses, input, decisions required from BD or Operational team.
6. Seek legal advice when required on Non-standard issues or Fall-Back positions.
7. Monitor the process end to end to ensure there are no avoidable delays between Business Development request and the executed contract, on approved terms.
8. Conduct legal research and stay abreast with regulatory updates.
9. Support MLRO with KYC check processes for Account Managers.
10. Perform other responsibilities as required and determined by the Senior Counsel from time to time.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in business, law, or related field.
2. Any experience in a similar role is considered a plus.
3. Experience with government contracting is advantageous.
4. Working knowledge of federal contracting regulations.
5. Ability to interpret and explain complex legal documents.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat,
and other relevant software programs.
8. Active certification as a Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) would be a plus.
