Backed by a five year GBP 580 million investment plan from Scottish Government, our plans to upgrade and improve ferries and harbours already well underway.Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for the position of Head of Harbour Assets to strengthen the Port Infrastructure department.This position offers an exciting leadership opportunity in a client role managing a professional team and being involved with asset management, maintenance and planning relating to CMAL's harbours across Scotland.The roleA leadership role overseeing the Harbour Assets Team, consisting of developing all aspects of the function, reporting to the Director of Port Infrastructure and Planning, the role involves:Improvement of asset management procedures in line with CMAL's strategic objectives.Managing and overseeing the Harbour Assets team budget and delivery of projects/works, for building and property, planning, vessel/port interface and on:going reactive and pro:active maintenance.Regular liaisonwith ferry/harbour operator and Transport Scotland.Who are we looking for?CMAL requires a motivated, professional, and diligent individual with a proactive and creative approach and the ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
