The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (the West one with capacity of 3,000 m3/hour and the East one with 2,700 m3/hour).
Early works are currently being performed on site, preparing the permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants, in addition to the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule and Execution Plan.Job Summary:In this role, you will be assigned to project to support Project Field Engineering Manager with project setup activities including championing Advanced Work Packaging program on the project.Major Responsibilities:Developing construction and field engineering procedures for Project scope of services on the project.Supporting Project Field Engineering Manager with project staffing efforts including technical interviews and progress reports, staffing meetings.Developing project specific construction and field engineering training matrix and assigning training to project team members.Supporting development is detailed execution plans, construction quality plan and other compliance documents applicable to project.Initiating and establishing Constructability program on the project, including project constructability log.Preparing and maintaining project critical action list related to construction scope of work applicable to project.Developing and leading implementation of Advance Work packaging program on the project, to the level detail applicable, including establishing CV, CVA and CWP boundaries and establishing interfaces matrix for project stakeholders and tools.Facilitating, liaising, coordinating and managing the interface with client, internal functions, contractors, and other stakeholders for the successful completion, manage and handover of works.Ensuring the closure of construction activities are systematic and complete in all respects.Education and Experience Requirements:Requires recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline and/or specialized courses in construction management, and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge and experience in Advance Work Packaging process.Thorough knowledge of international standards and specification and codes as applicable, including various safety procedures and practices associated.Must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive work environment between all parties including the client, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices related to construction activities.Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment, with a passion to take ownership of projects and provide sound technical leadership to contractor's staff and construction engineers.Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of process improvement processes such as Six Sigma program tools and methodologies.Diverse teams build the extraordinary:As a global company, Bechtel has long been home to a vibrant multitude of nationalities, cultures, ethnicities, and life experiences.
