Additionally, we pride ourselves on the formation of individuals sensitive to issues of social responsibility and the environment.The educational philosophy shared by the Inspired group of schools, and pursued by Cambridge College Lima since the school's inception, is founded on a dedication to excellence permeating every aspect of the school, integrating innovative, challenging and enriching academic, performing arts and sports programmes, the three pillars of an Inspired education.The school delivers iGCSE and IB Diploma.Key Responsibilities:Advises and consults with the Headmaster on all aspects of the Secondary School.Deputizes in the Headmaster's absence.To support the headmaster in the recruitment of Secondary teachers.To lead the development of the Secondary school.In conjunction with the headmaster and heads of departments, evaluate and lead the academic development of the Secondary School and monitor academic standards in the Secondary School for both progress and attainment.To lead Key Stage 4 and ensure pupils are prepared for IGCSEs.To lead Key Stage 5 and ensure pupils are prepared for IBDP examinations.To be responsible for entries, exam administration, and results; one must be in school on results days.To set ambitious and aspirational targets for the school.To establish school policy and procedure, ensuring that Inspired policies are adhered to and standards maintained.To be an exemplary teacher (on a reduced timetable).To encourage, support, and advise Heads of Departments/Subject leaders.To ensure the safety and welfare of pupils by implementing our Safeguarding, Health and Safety, GDPR and any other related policies.To foster team spirit amongst the staff and to offer support, encouragement and guidance when needed.Requirements:Substantial experience in a British or British international school.PGCE/QTS, or international equivalent.Strong IB experience and IGCSE experience.Ability to work collaboratively in a 3-18 years school.Understanding and empathy.Being a good Spanish speaker would be an advantage.
