A day in the life : 1.Analyse and evaluate requests for engineering applications andsystems based on user needs and requirements.
2. Responsible foradvanced support of BIM / CAD and engineering application softwarewithin WSP Americas. 3. Collaborate with Business stakeholders,Engineering Software Support Team, and Information Management Teamand contribute CAD / BIM expertise to help automate criticalengineering processes to help achieve efficiencies.

Manageintroduction and use of new and updated engineering softwareproducts within the WSP Americas business as well as on largeindividual projects.
5. Recommend use of appropriate engineeringsoftware tools and engineering document collaboration systems(e.g., BIM360 / ACC, ProjectWise, ArcGIS, SharePoint Online).
6.Participate and contribute in formalizing requirements, testing andacceptance process for release of new Engineering applications, andcoordinate successful deployment of applications onto clientmachines.
7. Help develop training and change management plansaround the use and adoption of Engineering application tools andsoftware across the business.
8. Maintain technical supportdocumentation, knowledgebase articles for Engineering applicationsand share related knowledge effectively.
9.
Perform system testing,manage the UAT, the acceptance process for release of newEngineering applications, and coordinate successful deployment ofapplications onto client machines.
10. Continually improve theprocesses around engineering application delivery working with WSPPartners. 11. Assist in the management of licensing of engineeringapplications and associated reporting.
12. Maintain comprehensiveknowledge of industry trends and standards in engineering anddesign systems. 13. Identify training requirements for users ofvarious engineering software applications;
recommend and coordinatetraining. 14. Communicate with and support end users. What you'llbring to WSP : 1. Degree in IT or Computer Science or 5-7 yearssupporting engineering applications.
2. Experience with engineeringsoftware (including AutoCAD,
Revit, ProjectWise, BIM360 / ACC) is anasset. 3. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
4.Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written). 5.Proficiency in French and Spanish is highly desirable.
6.High-level working knowledge of either ACC / BIM360, ProjectWise,SharePoint. 7. Preferable previous experience working on majorinfrastructure projects.
