As a leader in the precast concrete industry, we're looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to drive our growth and engage with customers in meaningful ways.The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role involves overseeing both sales operations and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, generate bid opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term clients. This position will collaborate closely with internal teams, ensuring alignment with Lakelands Concrete Products' vision.Essential functionsReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Sales Strategy & Execution:• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share in line with company objectives.• Responsible for overall revenue generation and establishing sales goals.• Recruit and lead the sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to meet and exceed sales targets.• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and key decision-makers.• Assigns client projects to team members.• Meets with customers to develop solutions to complex construction problems.• Estimates material, labor and freight for projects.• Actively pursues bid projects with timely follow up and awareness of project status.• Obtains bidder lists for projects that have been scoped and estimated.• Assists walk-in customers with purchases and product inquiries.• Analyzing sales data to forecast future sales trends and reporting on sales performance to the leadership team.• Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction. This includes negotiating contracts and handling escalations.• Allocating resources effectively, managing the sales department's budget, and ensuring profitability through cost-effective practices.Marketing Strategy & Execution• Identify and target prospects and new market opportunities for precast concrete solutions.• Creates and deploys marketing plans for new and existing products.• Staying informed about market conditions, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales & marketing tactics accordingly.• Bring new product recommendations to the leadership team.• Working closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth and customer satisfaction.• Other duties as assigned.This blend of strategic planning, execution, and relationship management will drive growth while promoting Lakelands Concrete Products as a top-tier provider of precast concrete solutions.RequirementsCompetenciesCustomer/Client Focus.Communication Proficiency.Performance Management.Business Acumen.Initiative.Results Driven.Required education and experienceBachelor's degree in business, business administration, or related field, OR comparable sales leadership experience.At least seven years of sales experience.At least 5 years of supervisory experience.Experience working on marketing initiatives and/or business development activities.Preferred education and experiencePrevious sales role(s) in the construction, engineering, infrastructure, utility or manufacturing industries.Experience with using and configuring CRM and/or ERP system.Familiarity with estimating and/or project management duties in the construction industry.In-depth knowledge of sales metrics, analysis, and reporting.Excellent negotiating skills.
