The Lead Engineer is responsible for leading webMethods, SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP-IS, and in-house built MFT Application Support activities and maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, architecture & support of the webMethods, SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP-IS integrations, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and adherence to best practices.Define integration patterns, standards, and strategies to facilitate seamless data flow across diverse systems.Provide technical expertise in webMethods, SAP PI/PO & BTP IS and related integration technologies to guide the team in designing and implementing effective solutions.Mentor and coach team members, promoting continuous skill development and knowledge sharing.Define and enforce integration governance policies, ensuring consistent integration design, data quality, and compliance with industry standards.Lead and manage a team of integration engineers, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team environment that fosters creativity and excellence.Optimize the performance of integration workflows, ensuring efficient data transfer and minimal latency.Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address any integration bottlenecks or failures.Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and identity management, to protect sensitive information during integration processes.Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.Provide training and workshops to internal teams on using the webMethods platform effectively.Provide feedback to the vendor to influence product improvements and updates.What We Are Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions using the webMethods platform/ SAP PI/PO /& BTP IS (More than 5 years for webMethods, 5 years for SAP PI/PO, and 3 years for BTP/IS).Strong understanding of integration patterns, EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) concepts.Previous experience leading technical teams, fostering growth, and creating a collaborative work environment.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or other relevant languages.Familiarity with technologies such as API gateways, messaging systems, ESBs (Enterprise Service Buses), and microservices.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Relevant certifications in webMethods, SAP BTP-IS, or integration technologies are a plus.Desired QualificationsThe ability to understand business needs and align API integration strategies with organizational goals and objectives.Adept at working in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving technologies and business requirements.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex integration challenges and develop effective solutions.Experience in managing projects, coordinating resources, and delivering projects on time and within budget.Relevant certifications in API management or related fields are advantageous, but not mandatory.Primary LocationAsia Pacific-India-Karnataka-BangaloreJob FunctionEngineering (Generalist)
