Join Visa: A Network Working for Everyone.Job Description: Andean New Business Development Senior Manager (Based in Colombia, Peru, or Ecuador)Mature the prioritized pipeline (impact vs effort) of each novel player in the markets (leads and clients), prioritizing those who provide support to increase client's Visa sales volume, net revenue, and Andean strategic approach.Identify new business opportunities for Visa offering of Visa Products and solutions for assigned clients, providing dynamic and proactive product/solution support and customer service.Manage relationships with new digital players (Fintech, Enablers, Bin Sponsors, Processors, Crypto Programs, Digital Payfacs, VD Program, Local Fintech Associations & Market Wallets), initially focusing on enablers & bin sponsors readiness in the markets.Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures the client's business objectives are met and that the performance metrics of their payment projections are maximized in time.
Develop and execute a set of objectives and goals for assigned clients.Develop local Fintech ecosystems with Fintech Associations (Mentoring, Promotion & Scouting, Training, Bootcamps, Speakers).Coordinate with market BD's to create bin sponsor, issuer & acquirer program opportunities.
Work with regulated FIs to enable BaaS for new players.
Develop pitching decks and business cases.Partner with core banking suppliers & middleware enablers to provide issuing partnership platforms for new players.Liaise with the local product ambassadors and functional team champions to deliver proactive product/solution support and customer service.
Work closely with Client Services to achieve client readiness.Link with the digital partnerships team to develop the regional strategy in the markets and manage regional fintech accounts sub-regional business.Coordinate with the Marketing team to strengthen the brand and increase MIK with new players.Be aware of local regulation in the markets and coordinate with government relations to advise fintech & new players with the regulator, central bank, and consumer defense entity.Establish a relationship with active EEDE's (PER) /SEDPE´s (COL) and promote enablers to obtain new ones to develop prepaid issuance in Peru.Maintain constant updating and expertise of fintech & crypto global and regional trends.Propose possible investment opportunities for Visa.Monitor competitors' activities, fusions, acquisitions in this vertical.This is a hybrid position.
Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:At least 6 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD).Fluent in English and Spanish.Preferred Qualifications:7 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).5 years of experience in operating and business development roles across companies in fintech, payments, or financial services.Demonstrated track record of building and managing businesses including expertise in setting go-to-market strategies and execution, pricing, managing budgets, generating and scaling revenue, and supporting clients.Track record and expertise in structuring partnerships and legal agreements.Track record orchestrating digital integrations and operational go-to-market strategies.Ability to successfully build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.Experience working with enablers, Fintechs, and crypto wallets and exchanges.Strong problem-solving skills and creativity to identify new opportunities/anticipate how can impact payments ecosystem.Expertise in explaining complex concepts and technologies to a broad audience of external stakeholders.
