This Role
Responsibilities
- As a Business Specialist | Merchant Ops, you will collaborate closely with merchants nationwide. At PayJoy, your role involves strategic interactions, analytics-driven transactions,
and project management essential for fostering successful partnerships and driving business growth. You will act as the primary liaison between our company and valued business partners, playing a pivotal role in cultivating robust relationships.
- Conduct reconciliations for partner payments, manage promotions, and ensure timely payment to partners.
- Ensure prompt payment of commissions, promotions, incentives, etc.
- Assist in the business planning process including discovery, ideation, initiative sizing, business plan creation, governance setup, and execution initiation.
- Collaborate with other PayJoy teams to ensure successful regional project execution.
- Simplify and synthesize complex structures to effectively communicate value.
- Travel as needed to support the growth of PayJoy accounts.
- Cultivate strong relationships with our global offices.
- Support merchants in all aspects of their administrative operations.
- Lead improvement projects that require interaction with diverse areas such as product development, sales, etc.
- Overseeing 1 or 2 representatives.
Qualifications
- More than 3 year of experience in support and/or account management in sectors such as telecommunications, retail, and/or finance.
- Experience in managing KPIs.
- Strong skills in analysis and communication (both verbal and written).
- Advance proficiency in English for verbal and written communication.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite or Office, especially Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, administration, or a related field.
- Experience in handling large volumes of databases.
Desirable (Optional)
- Agile methodology.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Jira, and CRM.
