A Snapshot of Your Day:
The position is to provide maintenance to gas turbines, generators, compressors, and auxiliary systems in the field. Daily activities include mechanical hands-on work, leading and directing subcontractors to perform necessary tasks while ensuring quality and technical procedures are followed.
You will coordinate and lead the timing of material received on site and handle status and lessons learned to the back-office engineering and management.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Perform hands-on work on rotating machine core engine assembly/disassembly and auxiliary maintenance work.
- Assist in handling spare parts, service tools, installation tools, consumables, and documentation in the project scope.
- Lead and coordinate erection and assembly activities in accordance with time schedule and cost estimates.
- Participate in outage planning meetings with internal and external collaborators.
- Prepare and issue detailed reports regarding executed scope, condition, repairs performed, and recommendations for customer equipment.
- Ensure implementation of protocols, policies, guidelines, and proficiencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
- Review and execute customer contract requirements.
- Provide combustion turbine and steam turbine knowledge and expertise to division management, customer management, product line management, and suppliers.
What You Bring:
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- Professional Experience (3+ years) as a Mechanical Field Service Representative, preferably in gas turbine maintenance or related engineering field.
- Previous experience in a hands-on role in power generation, oil and gas, or rotating equipment maintenance.
- Ability to handle pressure and possess a service mindset.
- Technical knowledge of combustion turbines, steam turbines, electrical generators, and associated auxiliary systems.
- Proficient in English writing/speaking for communication.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time (sometimes on short notice) and work atypical shift regimes.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and following technical drawings, P, schematics, and written work instructions/procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, particularly Excel,
Word, and Project.
