DescripciónJob Description: NCBA CLUSA is seeking a Chief of Party for a USAID-funded proposal improving economic integration of Venezuelan migrants and refugees in Peru and Ecuador. The position oversees project activities, ensures objectives are executed, and facilitates dialogue with government partners.Responsibilities:Provide technical direction and strategic oversightOversee project activities and ensure objectives are executedLead project work planning and identify employment opportunities for Venezuelan migrantsFacilitate dialogue with all levels of governmentEnsure effective use of USAID resources and compliance with financial systems and controlsEnsure sound financial management and monitoring of paymentsLead internal and external program planning and reportingDevelop and manage a team of diverse backgroundsServe as the primary representative of the project to USAIDQualifications:Master's degree in a related field12+ years of experience implementing development projects in financial inclusion, workforce development, social protection, local governance, and social inclusion6+ years serving in a leadership role managing large, complex USAID or other donor-funded projectsExcellent communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skillsDemonstrated skills in working with government counterparts, USG donors, and other key stakeholders and partnersAbility to recruit, train, develop, motivate and manage staffAbility to negotiate and manage agreements and programmatic and financial reporting requirementsDemonstrated understanding of USAID grant or contract rules and regulationsProven ability to produce results in challenging contextsCapacity to effectively deal with and resolve conflictFluency in Spanish and English requiredExperience in Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela preferredAdditional Information: All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
