Vice President, Credit Evaluation : CorporateJob Responsibilities:Decision making by credit approving authority.Ensure timely completion of credit evaluation and assist business units in suggesting risk mitigating terms during the evaluation of credit proposals.Mediate differences in views between credit evaluation and business units to achieve an optimal proposition, balancing both risk and business needs.Attend client presentations and meetings to Know Your Customer and understand business operations and risks to aid in risk evaluation and decision making.Maintain market awareness to be vigilant of trends affecting existing and future credit exposures.Review and sign off on credit ratings submitted by the business units and, where appropriate, recommend upgrades or downgrades in credit ratings.Exercise delegated credit approving powers within authorized limits/parameters, when necessary.Contribute views on credit-related issues during client service team discussions, product readiness assessment, and formulation of internal risk policies.Job Requirements:Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Technology, or any other related field.Certified Credit Professional or any similar credit-related certification.Minimum 8 years of credit-related experience.Established in August 1975, AmBank Group is one of the largest banking groups in Malaysia by market capitalization and comprises AMMB Holdings Berhad and its subsidiaries: AmInvestment Bank Berhad, AmBank (M) Berhad, AmBank Islamic Berhad, AmGeneral Insurance Berhad, AmMetLife Insurance Berhad, and AmMetLife Takaful Berhad.
