AECOM requires a Contract Manager (Change and Risk) to provide support to program management working on a major infrastructure project.
The position will report to program management as part of the Lima based office team.
Successful applicant must be fluent in both English and Spanish, and will have a track record of administrating contracts in English.
Experience in management of, and analysis of, risk is a significant advantage.
Main Responsibilities
Proven ability to participate and add value to developing commercial strategies.
Oversees procedure development and implementation.
Skilled in the development of commercial strategies.
Capable of participating in negotiations.
Conduct root cause analysis.
Draft comprehensive project procedures.
Possess proven knowledge of scope control and change management.
Establish and maintain client relationships.
Able to review and assess (as required) raw data that comes from project automated systems.
Serve as a key participant in client and/or subcontractor negotiations.
Involved in tracking system to ensure that Project Management team is fully aware of detailed change order status.
Prepare and assist in various levels of project reporting.
Key contributor in the preparation of monthly status report.
May assist in the negotiation of terms and conditions with clients.
Coordination with AECOM's operations management team.
Minimum Requirements
Bilingual English & Spanish - writing, reading and speaking.
University Degree in engineering, law or other related discipline.
Minimum 8 years' experience in applicable roles on construction/engineering projects.
Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as with others.
Experience of setting up an efficient and effective filing system for easy access by the Project team.
Proficiency in MS Office and PM Document control systems.
Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
You will have worked in a similar role and you must be used to a fast-paced and busy environment in which to work.
Experience on aviation projects.
Risk management experience.
Immediate availability.
