SUMMARY OF ROLE Within the Flow Controls sales organization, the Pricing Manager is responsible to develop, drive and implement the pricing strategies for products and services. The Pricing Manager also supports to identify targeted markets and customers price trends to maximize the bookings and profitability. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES This role is articulated around 3 core areas:Pricing Administration, Pricing Tactics and long term Pricing Strategy. Pricing Administration:Lead all pricing systems implementations and projects related to price (including MEA instance):With BU Products Manager and WW Pricing counterpart determine system architecture of new products:Manage factors (market, price and transfer):Manage the Delegation of Authority (DOA) system and lead process changes:Advise and implement all pricing related legal documentation (policies, trainings, communications):Monitor pricing audits (internal:Emerson/ PWC and External:customers, customs...):Ensure all trade compliance process are implemented in pricing instances (DOA...):Support IT with pricing related internal customer tickets:Support Sales office in price / terms and conditions questions:Manage intercompany price requests:Perform training whenever requiered Pricing Tactics:DefineEuropeanmarketing price per regions and per products ranges as per market segmentation:Drive factors changes as per the market and organizational constraints:Lead DOA discount corridors discussion with Sales Director:Support and advise Keys Accounts and Sales Offices in Frame Agreements (MRO and Parts) products price offers.:Translate and monitor WW and European Frame Agreements/ make T and Cs summary:Provide regular analysis and dashboards about Price Realization:Support Financial projects/ review on profitability balance between sales offices and manufacturing locations. Implement related actions.:Perform profitability assessment on projects and advise DOA Recommenders, Approvers Pricing Strategy:Support direct Customers negotiation when required:Drive Spare Parts price variation highlight through systems and communication to customers:Ensure Spares balanced elasticity in different markets (Volume/price):Actively participate in WW Pricing project development for Flow Controls:Based on market behaviour/ segmentation provide pricing recommendations to counterpart:As member of European Price Council represent Flow Controls on Autosol pricing discussions:Analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of customer.
