Position Overview This is an exciting opportunity within Schroders Capital Private Equity's US Buyout investment team based in New York.
You will be centrally involved in the full investment process across primary investments, secondary investments, and direct co-investments within the US buyout market.The Investment analyst will join a cohesive group of high-performing investment professionals with relevant backgrounds ranging from private equity investing, investment banking, accounting & finance, and operations.
This hire is expected to play a key role in all aspects of our business.
Responsibilities This role involves evaluating private equity investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and preparing investment recommendations for primary fund investments, secondary investments, and co-investments.
Additional duties include conducting industry studies, investment screening, portfolio analysis, and monitoring of investments.
Most investments will be located in North America.
Basic Qualifications A Bachelor's degree from a leading universityBetween two to three years of work experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, M&A, consultingExperience analyzing companies, industries, and funds from an investment perspective a plusFinancial analysis, business modelling, and valuation skillsExcellent communication skills (written / verbal / presentation)An ability to integrate rapidly and to work effectively in a global team of professionalsAn ability to manage multiple responsibilities and time-sensitive deliverables with a high degree of quality and accuracy Preferred QualificationsInvestment banking, consulting, M&A, or related corporate finance fieldCompensationSchroders offers a base salary in a range of $115,000 to $130,000 for this position.The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
