Requisition ID: 280663Relocation Authorized: NoneTelework Type: Full-Time Office/ProjectJob Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for reporting to the Personnel and Compensation Specialist, Personnel and Compensation Supervisor, Workforce Services Manager, in the payroll process for the benefit of the project, performing the functions of labor compensation in construction projects under the Civil Construction Regime and General Regime, working on a project and/or within a Shared Services environment. You will interact with the areas of site administration, finance, payroll, and the systems development teams. Ensure that activities in the labor compensation process are in compliance with company, site policies/procedures, and legal requirements.Major Responsibilities:Verifying and coordinating that the information provided by the Finance area has been transferred in a correct and timely manner.Verifying that the documentation submitted by the Workforce to the Recruitment area is complete for the assembly of the personnel file.Monitoring and carrying out the renewal of contracts in accordance with the legal regulations.Providing a report to the Labor Relations Area regarding the control of medical leave days for the necessary alerts for the correct allocation of subsidies.Receiving weekly reports from the Labor Relations Area of the different events that the workers have.Ensuring compliance with Bechtel's policies and practices and Workforce Services.Keeping abreast of labor laws and related legislation applicable to construction workers/general scheme and their compensation.Contributing to the preparation of the salary bulletins of the projects.Education and Experience Requirements:Requires a graduate or degree preferably in the specialties of Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Construction Administration or related, and 2-4 years of work experience related to the position.Required Knowledge and Skills:Previous experience directly related to the compensation of the Civil Construction Regime and General Regime.Proven experience in compensation or timing activities to execute the organizational objectives of Labor Relations.Experience in the elaboration of compensations in the construction and general, direct contracting regimes.Previous compensation experience in construction/mining projects (preferred).Experience with Monthly Payroll or PLAME in the Civil Construction Regime and Common Regime (preferred).Experience with SAP as a payroll system and/or HRIS (preferred).Experience as a Bechtel partner or JV, as well as knowledge of the construction practices carried out by Bechtel (desirable).Knowledge of labor and employment laws.Knowledge of labor recruitment in Peru, such as scheduling issues, unions, and relationships with employees.Familiarity with the concepts of payroll in civil construction.Basic written and spoken English level (preferred).Diversity and Inclusion:As a global company, Bechtel has long been home to a vibrant multitude of nationalities, cultures, ethnicities, and life experiences.
