Job Description AECOM is looking for a Project Planning & Scheduling Specialist to work in Lima, Peru.
? Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly updates and reports from the Planning and Project Controls Department to effectively support the management and decision-making processes of a Public Infrastructure PMO.
Control and monitoring of PMO baselines based on the Earned Value Methodology and the best practices of PMI and AACE.
Coordinate with work teams to assign, optimize, and balance key resources.
Review of the overall schedule quality, control of float, constraints, critical path evaluation, and diligent dissemination of early warnings and risks.
Works independently with latitude to determine work priorities and receives guidance on overall project objectives.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively managing client relationships and facilitating smooth project execution.
Develops fundamental knowledge of planning and scheduling concepts and principles including effects on financial performance. Develops familiarity with data sources for schedule development. Ability to identify and investigate project schedule variance.
Collects data and updates and produces scheduling reports. Assists in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS).
Develops familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and construction contracting.
Possesses a fundamental understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
Able to review and understand engineering, procurement and construction schedule logic Assists in assembling data for schedule updating.
Assists in the measurement of project schedule progress Develops knowledge of scope control, change management and earned value methodology.
Supports data gathering and produces an initial analysis for schedule baseline development and maintenance data gathering.
Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts and principles.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS + 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
P6 Primavera Intermediate/Advanced.
Experience in public infrastructure projects.
English Intermediate.
Additional Information Preferable requirements/ experience: Experience in NEC3 and NEC4 contract management.
Experience in government-to-government contracts.
PMP, PMI-SP, PSP Certification.
