Job Description & Summary A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You'll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC's regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.
Our Risk and Quality team identifies and assists internal teams to mitigate and control client engagement risks. As part of the team, you'll provide advice to business teams within PwC on sound contract provisions, standards and approaches in accordance with PwC policies, principles and standards.

Overall Responsibilities: The Acceleration Center (AC) Risk & Quality (R&Q) will provide OFRO support to the Cloud Engineering, Data, & Analytics (CEDA) practice. Leading R&Q risk reviews and building relationships with senior stakeholders to manage risk and quality in a practical manner is critical to this role. The role supports the US CEDA R&Q Leader and works collaboratively with the CEDA Director to manage risk and quality for the business. An outstanding 'Customer Experience', with a focus of mitigating risk and enhancing quality within OFRO and across the CEDA Practice Team is key.
Preferred skills Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success performing risk management and quality efforts in the following areas:
Reviewing and comparing R&Q policies and procedures across the Business in order to develop and formulate a consistent approach;
Partnering with other OFRO functions (e.g. R&Q, independence, internal audit), and other support functions (e.g. OGC, E&C, NIS and other AC functional teams) to provide comprehensive support to the Business including feedback on engagement-specific methods and approaches;
Operating and collaborating effectively with diverse teams across the world and embracing the views of others to develop optimal solutions;
Demonstrating ability to manage multiple in-flight reviews simultaneously. Managing issues and status on both strategic and tactical initiatives with demonstrated ability to raise and vet complex and/or time sensitive matters;
Developing and sustaining extensive relationships across OFRO, the Business and other enabler groups to positively impact strategic initiatives and related programs;
Exercising a proactive mindset, with proven ability to independently solve problems with minimal supervision;
Demonstrating excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills at a senior level;
Demonstrating the ability and willingness to regularly work outside normal business hours (mornings and/or evenings) in order to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple time zones;
Understanding the implications of the unique nature of PwC's position in the market and as a public accounting firm that requires sound policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements, to maintain our reputation, to protect our brand, and to deliver the consistent quality that our clients expect from PwC's brand;
Leading on-boarding to help new business joiners get up to speed quickly on the policies and operating procedures that help the firm mitigate risk, comply with industry regulations, and provide consistent quality service to clients;

Minimum years experience required
15+ years
3-5 years' experience in a technology design or delivery role (infrastructure, application, and/or analytics)
