Regional Product Development Head - DCI
This is regional management leadership position at the scale of Latin America, reporting to the regional VP DCI ( Digital Commercial Insurance ), leading and managing product initiatives, from conception to proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and introduce new, innovative, and value-adding DCI policies at a regional level, carefully considering the specific differentiators that add Chubb competitiveness at each country level.
- Take full ownership of Package Product leadership, overseeing the development of questionnaires, business rules, and the digitization of technical products, ensuring alignment with the agreed TOM for DCI.
- Conduct comprehensive comparative analyses of policies,
texts, and contracting processes utilized by Chubb's key competitors in the region.
- Ensure Chubb's products, coverages, texts, and clauses remain highly competitive, delivering exceptional experiences for external stakeholders.
- Continuously enhance the value proposition of Chubb by creating new products, refreshing existing ones, and striving for increased growth and differentiation within the DCI market.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive matrix of target products and derivatives, encompassing both bundled and standalone offerings.
- Create, develop and lead Chubb Latin America's go-to-market strategy in the multi-disciplinary structure, collaborating with Sales, UW, Ops and Marketing.
- Collaborate closely with various functional areas, such as actuarial, distribution, finance, legal, marketing, operations, claims, technology, and underwriting, on cross-functional product management initiatives.
- Tech savvy and up to date of new technologies, external providers, and innovation on DCI space to provide a frictionless experience to agents and partners.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Business or related areas.
- Minimum 7 YOE in new P package product introduction in the Latin American and / or market space. North American package experience in the SME space.
- Strong entrepreneurial track record of creation and expansion in P packages.
- Demonstrated track record as a self-starter leading UW and Commercial distribution teams.
- Versatile multiline UW skills in both First and Third-Party insurance products (Property, Marine, Casualty, Financial Lines).
- Deep knowledge of Latin America markets or international emerging P markets.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus.
