Who are we looking for ? We are seeking a Reliability Engineer To initiate/ conduct engineering / technical support and reliability improvement initiatives / recommendations and advices for Reliability throughout the complex. Also, to develop an effective condition monitoring program for the plant rotating machines as well as fostering effctive program implementation. Provide site technical support to MNT & MFT on Reliability issues. Identify and develop a plan to eleminate equipment / machines bad actors.


Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering (or Science) degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from reputable universities. Min 3 up to 12 years experience (dependfing on the grade code and more than 12 years is prefered), with main. Experience in refining and/or petrochemical industry roatating Reliability reliability improvement and trouble shooting. Demonstrated ability to translate reliability improvement techniques into engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability. Understanding of reliability theory and methods of reliability assessment and how to apply the methods to existing equipment. Demonstrated ability to lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions from it. Demonstrated ability to select and implement predictive maintenance technologies for rotating equipment. Practical working knowledge of international Reliability codes, standards and specifications Duties and responsabilities Area 1: Planning and task allocation To prepare a schedule of work and provide direction for the preparation of designs, machinery business processes and related data for complex reliability issues on the in charged area to ensure that work is completed as per the set targets, engineering standards and PRC requirements. Area 2: Engineering Studies Lead engineering data analysis pertinent to complex machinery problems, with respect to technical issues, scope, economic value, long range planning and budgetary considerations in the in charged area in order to support the development and formulate the basis for reliability studies. Execute studies and analysis as need base or as instructed by Department management Area 3: Project Management Handle the review, technical evaluation and implementation of assigned projects. Aquire the ability and skills to liase with all conserned parties, including contractors, to ensure proper and smooth handling of assigned tasks and projects. Area 4: Process Improvement Continuosly evaluatethe current situation / condition and look for potential improvement opportunities and utilize them to further enhance the equipment / plant reliability. Recommends new modifications in order to improve existing facilities. Strive for improvement and always suggest new ideas and methods for acheiving better results. Area 5: Reporting initiate detailed Failure analysis reports on machinery failures with recommended action to prevent re-occurrence . Review Condition Monitoring (CM) results, isuues "as needed" CM reports and follow up issued recommendations .Establish and maintain all machinery reliability KPI's. Area 6: Coaching Provide coaching to junior / PDP engineers and supervise their work to ensure proper transfer of skills, knowledge and working experience as per the company long term strategy. Generate a preventive maintenance activities list and work out with PM/QC group to optimize/reinforce PM activities and frequency based on received feed back from maintenance department and to track PM effectiveness.
